You’ve just performed a factory reset on your Acer Iconia One 10 (B3-A40), either to fix a software glitch or because you bought a used tablet. Now, you’re staring at a screen that says: "This device was reset. To continue, sign in with a Google account that was previously synced on this device."

The good news? The Acer Iconia One 10 B3-A40 (running Android 7.0 Nougat or 8.1 Oreo) has several known vulnerabilities that allow FRP bypass. Below, I’ve documented three working methods – from the simplest (no PC) to advanced (using a computer).

Turn on your tablet. Go through language selection, accept the terms, and connect to Wi-Fi. Stop when you reach the "Google Sign-in" screen (the FRP lock).

After a factory reset, proceed through the setup until you reach the Wi-Fi network screen.

Once inside Android Settings:

After reboot, the device should be FRP-free.

If your B3-A40 has Android 8.1 or higher, the Accessibility method might be patched. Use this alternative.
