You can open it in a text editor, but values are hashed/encrypted. Changing "gems": 5 to "gems": 9999 will likely corrupt the file.

Edits will be detected – Rovio resets your progress if you go online.
No reliable public “best save” exists – any file you find online is either: angry birds 2 save file best
If you care about the Bird Power (BP) score, this is the best. It features a level 7 Rock Hatchling and fully upgraded Mighty Eagle spells. It feels the most "legit" because your BP is high enough to enter Diamond league but not high enough to trigger manual review by Rovio.

✅ Do NOT rely on "Sign in with Facebook" alone – It often syncs hats but not story progress.
✅ Take a screenshot of your Player ID (Settings → bottom of screen). Support can restore from this if you have purchase receipts.
✅ Backup LocalData after every major event (new hat, leveled a bird, gained 1000 arena points).
