TotalMedia relies on legacy DirectShow filters and codecs that were deprecated after Windows 8.1. Windows 11 uses a modernized Media Foundation pipeline. As a result, TotalMedia often:

This is the most insidious problem. Blu-ray discs use AACS (Advanced Access Content System) encryption, which requires periodic key updates. ArcSoft TotalMedia uses embedded keys that expired years ago. Even if you get the program to launch, it will refuse to play newer Blu-ray releases (post-2018). You will see an error: "This disc is not supported by the player."

After installing these, restart and attempt to run TotalMedia again.

Expected result: The program might launch, but Blu-ray menu navigation will likely be broken or laggy.
