Even if you have an old 6.5.2 perpetual license, you can use the same activation credentials to download and run Media Composer 2024 (via the "Perpetual License" option in Avid Link). Avid still honors the perpetual license; you just lose support and upgrades until you buy a "Reinstatement" (approx. $299).
