Bleach Kai n’est pas un produit officiel de Studio Pierrot ou de Shueisha. Il s’agit d’un fan-edit (montage amateur) méticuleux. Le principe est simple : supprimer tout ce qui n’est pas canonique, fidèle au manga de Tite Kubo.
La Vostfr permet de conserver les termes précis de l’univers Kubo : Zanpakutō, Bankai, Hollow, Shinigami, Vizard. Les sous-titres français des bonnes équipes (comme Fansub ou Hoshi) respectent la traduction du manga, contrairement à certaines VF qui ont francisé les noms techniques.
