Caldera Rip User Manual 【A-Z RECOMMENDED】
Caldera is a high-performance RIP (Raster Image Processor) software designed for wide-format and super-wide-format printing. It acts as the bridge between digital design files and physical printers, managing color accuracy, print queues, and media nesting.
Target Audience: Print Operators, Pre-press Technicians, and Production Managers. Prerequisites: A workstation with Caldera installed, connected to a supported large-format printer(s), and necessary color profiles (ICC).
Warning: Do not run CalderaRIP on a dual-boot Windows system. Use a dedicated Linux machine or a virtual machine with PCIe passthrough for the printer ports. caldera rip user manual
