Don't go to the beach at noon. This sounds obvious, but thousands of people do it every day. Go at 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM or 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Some beaches are worse than others. If you want to avoid the dance of death, steer clear of these scorchers during peak hours (12:00 PM – 4:00 PM). Beautiful
The sand north and south of the pier is notorious for "hot spots." Because the pier casts moving shadows, the sand heats unevenly. You’ll be walking on cool sand, step into a sunbeam, and suddenly feel like you stepped on a cigarette lighter.
