Note: The v475 EP Full does not support Gen 6 or newer imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX models. Those require SST v5.5 or above.
The tool uses a .ssf or .bin file structure. Technicians can load a "System Software" file, select either "Single" (update one device) or "Multi" mode (update up to 20 devices sequentially), and push the update via USB or TCP/IP.
Unlike consumer tools, v475 EP Full allows partition-specific flashing. If a specific function (e.g., scanning or fax) is corrupted, you can flash only that partition without touching the rest. This is invaluable in a busy office environment where downtime must be minimized.
