If you’ve been following the early access voyage of Corrupted Seas, you know the drill: toxic oceans, mutated leviathans, and a constant battle against the creeping “Blight.” But with the release of patch v04a (dubbed internally as the “BlueBite Top” update), the developers at Gloomfang Interactive have shifted the danger from the deep water to the surface—and more specifically, to what floats just beneath the waves.

The most reliable (though still rare) method is defeating Kraken-Maw, the Corrupted Spawn in the "Abyssal Trench" dungeon. The v04a update gave the boss a 4% chance to drop a "Blighted Armor Cache," which has a 1/3 chance of containing the Bluebite Top. Pro tip: Killing the boss while your entire squad is afflicted with "Stage 2 Brine Rot" increases the drop rate to 7%.
