This paper investigates the emergence and ranking of the so-called “Deia font” within VKontakte (VK) top font listings. Using observational analysis of VK design communities, font sharing groups, and download metrics, we explore how niche typefaces gain popularity through social media ecosystems. Results suggest that visual distinctiveness, free licensing, and influencer posts drive “Deia” into top-10 rankings despite limited professional recognition.
