Device Ntpnp Pci0012 Driver

Modern Windows versions often carry the correct driver in their optional update catalog.

  • Check the box next to the relevant driver and click Download & Install.
  • Reboot your PC.
  • Since the VEN_1022 (AMD) is the most frequent vendor for this ID, install the complete chipset driver package.

    After reboot, check Device Manager. The "Device Ntpnp Pci0012" should be relabeled as "AMD SMBus" or "PCI Standard Host CPU Bridge" and the yellow exclamation mark should disappear.

    Before installing anything, confirm exactly what the device is.

    You will see a string like: PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_0012&SUBSYS_123415AD&REV_00 Check the box next to the relevant driver

    If you see VEN_1022, you are dealing with an AMD chipset component.

    Sometimes Microsoft pushes these via optional updates.
