The changelog for V1.15 is massive (over 2,000 lines), but we’ve boiled it down to the five game-changing mechanics that redefine your experience.

The biggest complaint about previous versions was the loneliness. RJ01228542 fixes this with roaming NPCs who need rides.

Without ruining the narrative, the -New Update- adds a random "Lockdown" event between days 14 and 21. A highway blockade forces you off-road into the Redwood Forest. This area adds 4 new salvageable items (Mossy Tarp, Forest Mushrooms, Copper Wire Spools) and a terrifying new enemy type: The Scrap Stalker (a bear wearing a welded satellite dish as armor).

Pro tip for V1.15: Keep your headlights on the "High Beam" setting during this chapter.
