F1 2013 Change Language Extra Quality
Why this keeps Extra Quality: Steam validates all file hashes. If you previously had Extra Quality enabled in hardware_settings_config.xml, Steam’s official language patch will merge new text/audio files without overwriting your high-quality preset.
Downside: Not all languages are available. Russian and Polish, for example, were region-locked and may not appear. For those, see Method 2.
To achieve true high-quality localization, you need to manually inject HQ language assets. This requires downloading specific community-created packs (from RaceDepartment or Codemasters forums) or extracting HQ files from the console versions.
