Hrenit posted a brief roadmap in the Discord last night:
Call to Action: End with a call to action, encouraging readers to try the update. For example, "We invite you to experience the new and improved femboycafeshopv06. Download or update now to enjoy the latest features."
For those unaware, the "byhrenit" suffix indicates this is the more artistic, less forgiving version of the game. The main branch is fluffy and easy. Hrenit’s branch introduces a "Mental Health" system for the protagonist. If you work too many shifts without talking to the staff, the screen starts to desaturate, and the dialogue choices glitch out. femboycafeshopv06byhrenit updated
It is stressful, but beautiful. Version 0.6 makes that stress manageable.
This isn't just a bug-fix patch. Version 0.6 overhauls the core "vibe" of the game while adding tangible mechanics that the community has been requesting for months. Hrenit posted a brief roadmap in the Discord last night:
1. The "Midnight Oil" Visual Pass Hrenit has completely re-lit the café interior. The previous warm yellows have been replaced with dynamic, time-based lighting. As the in-game clock hits 2 AM, the lights dim, the jukebox volume lowers, and the "Comfort" stat for patrons actually increases. The new shaders make the character sprites look softer, almost painterly.
2. New Hire: The Barista with a Past A new character has been added to the roster: Kael. He is a tired, overly competent barista who joins your staff on Day 14. Unlike the more energetic cast, Kael comes with a "Burnout" meter. You have to manage his schedule carefully, or he will quit—taking a chunk of your coffee customization recipes with him. Call to Action : End with a call
3. The Stock Management Rework One of the biggest complaints about v05 was the tedious inventory system. In v06, Hrenit has streamlined the back-end:
4. Coffee Art Mini-Game (Experimental) This is the feature I am most nervous about. When you pour a latte, you now have a 15-second mini-game where you use the mouse to draw patterns. The better the art, the higher the "Tip" multiplier. It is currently optional, but Hrenit has hinted that certain character routes will require you to get a "Perfect" score on a cat face.
