Festo Fluidsim | Change Language

  • Partial language change (some menus still in old language):

    • For single-language installations (common in educational labs provided by Festo Didactic), you can force a language change by modifying the shortcut properties. This works for FluidSIM 4, 5, and 6.

    Festo FluidSIM historically handles languages in two ways: Partial language change (some menus still in old language):

    Knowing which version you have saves hours of frustration. Launch FluidSIM and look at the splash screen or Help > About. If you see references to DE, EN, FR, ES, IT in the file list, you have the MUI version. Help still in old language:

    Final Tip: If you’re teaching with FluidSim, set the language once via Tools > Options, then use the Start Menu shortcuts to quickly switch between languages for different student groups.

    If the language option is greyed out or missing from the menu, it often means the software was installed with only one language pack. FluidSIM installers are often region-specific.
