Not all Android phones are created equal. If you have an older phone (2018 or earlier), a budget device with less than 2GB of RAM, or limited monthly data, you should not install the standard Facebook app.
Instead, you should get Facebook Lite.
When you click "Install" to get Facebook for Android phone, a popup appears listing permissions. Do not blindly click "Accept." Understand what you are sharing.
