1. Connect CAN interface to vehicle’s OBD-II or direct CAN H/L pins.
2. Open flashing software (e.g., Hiworld Flash Tool, PCAN-Flash).
3. Load downloaded firmware file.
4. Set parameters:
   - Bit rate: 500k (most common for powertrain)
   - CAN ID: e.g., 0x7E0 (engine), 0x7E1 (transmission)
   - Protocol: ISO 15765-2 (UDS on CAN) or CCP/XCP
5. Send “Programming Session” request to ECU.
6. Upload download (block transfer) – may take 2–15 minutes.
7. Verify flash with CRC/checksum readback.
8. Reset ECU (send 0x01 0x03 via CAN or cycle ignition).
