Homeworld Remastered 21 Trainer -

A fully-featured 21 trainer for Homeworld Remastered (covering both Homeworld 1 Remastered and Homeworld 2 Remastered) usually includes:

Purists may scoff, but the 21-trainer serves several legitimate player motivations:

The Time-Strapped Veteran: You beat the original Homeworld on a Pentium II in 1999. You don’t want to spend 30 minutes mining dust clouds again. You want to replay the story of the Bentusi and the Beast (in Cataclysm) for the narrative, not the grind.

The Salvage Corvette Addict: One of the greatest joys of Homeworld is stealing enemy ships. With "God Mode" and "Infinite Resources," you can send a swarm of Salvage Corvettes to capture an entire enemy fleet, turning the campaign into a hilarious game of cosmic grand theft starship.

The Photographer/Artist: The game is beautiful. Using "Freeze AI" or "God Mode," players can stage cinematic fleet shots without being shot at.

Bug Bypass: The Remastered engine has occasional pathfinding bugs. If a mission-critical Carrier gets stuck in a gravity well, a trainer’s "Teleport Selected Unit" can save a 3-hour save file.

If you turn on "Unlimited Population," build 5,000 ships, then save and quit, the game may crash when trying to reload that save. Always turn off population cheats before saving at the end of a mission.

A critical note: Homeworld Remastered Collection runs both games on the same engine, but the data structures differ slightly. A true "21 Trainer" usually works for both, but you may find that some options (like Single-Player Research for HW1 and Fleet XP for HW2) work differently.

Always download a trainer explicitly labeled for the Gearbox Software version (2.0+), as older trainers from the 2015 launch may crash the game on modern Windows 10/11.

If you’d rather not use external software:

⚠️ Important: Use the trainer version that exactly matches your game version (e.g., 2.1, 2.3). Mismatched versions will cause crashes.

Do not download trainers from pop-up ad farms. Reputable sources in the Homeworld community include:
