Alert Scheduling You don't want notifications when you are mowing the lawn. The software allows you to set specific times (e.g., Monday-Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM) for "Away Mode" and different rules for "Home Mode." No software is perfect
Activity Zone Draw a polygon on the video feed. The camera will only trigger alerts inside that zone. If a car drives by on the sidewalk (outside the zone), you hear nothing. If someone walks up your driveway (inside the zone), you get an alert. If you have a model like the Cruiser
Push Notification Customization Imou allows you to mute "Frequent alerts" or bundle them into a summary digest. This prevents notification spam during high-wind events.
Sharing Devices Under "Device Sharing," you can grant access to family members. They must also download the Imou Life app. You can set them as "Viewer only" (can't change settings) or "Admin."
If you have a model like the Cruiser 4G or the Bullet 2C, the software allows you to trigger alarms remotely.
