The Intel Atom x5-Z8350 (codenamed "Cherry Trail") is a low-power, quad-core SoC (System on a Chip) launched in early 2016. You will find it powering budget tablets, inexpensive 2-in-1 convertibles, Mini PCs (like the Meegopad T08, Chuwi Hi8, or Beelink BT3), and industrial embedded systems.
While Windows 10 64-bit runs natively on this architecture, driver management is uniquely problematic. Unlike mainstream Core i-series chips, Intel stopped providing direct consumer driver updates for this platform after Windows 10 version 1709 (Fall Creators Update). Microsoft then took over distribution via Windows Update, but many users still encounter missing drivers, graphics glitches, or broken audio/Wi-Fi after a clean install.
