Medarot DS is a role-playing game developed by Rocket Company. It acts as a "reboot" of the original Game Boy Color storyline, featuring 3D graphics and touchscreen mechanics. Unlike earlier entries in the series, such as Medabots AX or Medabots: Metabee Version, Medarot DS was never officially localized for English-speaking audiences.

This is the most common error. It means your Japanese ROM is not the correct revision. Ensure you have the original, untrimmed release of Medarot DS. Some "pre-patched" ROMs circulating online are corrupted. Use a verified No-Intro ROM set.

However, there is no "dual version" patch. Instead, you must patch each version separately. The patch is distributed as an .xdelta file, which requires you to apply it to a clean, unmodified Japanese ROM.
