Cause: Corrupted flash or incompatible version. Solution: Most Medion EM2 motherboards have a BIOS recovery feature. Locate the jumper labeled JBAT1 or CLR_CMOS on the motherboard. Short it with a jumper cap or screwdriver for 10 seconds. Then, rename the firmware file to EM2.BIN, place it on a FAT32 USB drive, plug it into a rear USB 2.0 port, and power on while holding Ctrl + Home.

Medion does not host BIOS files on their main consumer site. Use the Medion Service Portal: Medion Em2 System Firmware 113
