SysInfo is an application for Motorola 680x0 based Classic Amiga and is used for getting information about the system like OS and library versions, hardware revisions and stuff.
Exactly 19 years after version 3.24 of SysInfo it's time for an update! The original author Nic Wilson has kindly given me permission to continue the maintenance of this old classic.

The benchmark results provided by SysInfo is currently not verified on M68060 Amigas and useless in emulators set up to emulate faster than early classic amigas!
Two reports of 1 MB ECS Agnus (NTSC 8372A) identified as a 2 MB Agnus.
When using tools to rearrange windows, "dialogs" can be put behind the main window.
In WinUAE, when enabling "Fast as possible" & JIT it craches after Speed test when scrolling the libraries list.
I want more bug reports! Mail it to SysInfo (at) d0.se or use the contact form.
Changed handling of speed numbers, if big, don't print decimals
Replaced "Chip Speed vs A600" algoritm to use a lot less instructions and a lot more CHIP mem accesses resulting in a more relevant value. This results in significantly lower value for machines with instruction cache (68020+), which is more accurate because instruction cache should not affect CHIPMEM access speed.
Added support for AC68080 frequenc support
Update will no longer try to open 68040/68060.library when there is no such CPU
Bugfix: 68040/68060 non FPU guru fixed, again!
Lots of updates/corrections in the SysInfo.guide documentation.
The DRIVES/SCSI function was not 'Close'ing each drive that it 'Open'ed after the function was finished.

Bentley packed SS3 with powerful tools that were ahead of their time.
Since Bentley no longer sells or supports V8i SS3 (mainstream support ended ~2018, extended support ended ~2021), your options are:
Legal note: Do not download cracked versions. Bentley is aggressive about IP protection. Contact your Bentley account manager for legacy license reactivation.
MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries 3) is a major legacy release of Bentley Systems' flagship 2D/3D CAD and information modeling platform. It is widely recognized for its stability in large-scale architecture, engineering, and infrastructure projects. 🔑 Key Features & Enhancements
Integrated Installer: It directly incorporates prerequisite software packages, removing the need for separate desktop prerequisite downloads.
Enhanced Geographic Tools: It features a robust integration with spatial platforms like Google Earth and Google Maps.
Interoperability: It supports native DGN files while utilizing Autodesk-authored RealDWG code for precise handling of DWG and DXF formats. microstation v8i select series 3
Web Map Services (WMS): It permits users to stream high-resolution, georeferenced background imagery directly from external map servers. 💻 Minimum System Requirements
Processor: Intel or AMD processor at 2.0 GHz or greater (SSE2 support is strictly required).
Memory: 512 MB minimum, though 2 GB or more is highly recommended.
Graphics: DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics card with at least 256 MB of dedicated video RAM.
Disk Space: Roughly 2.0 GB to 3.5 GB of free space for installation and temporary files. MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries 3) with Google Earth and Map
MicroStation V8i SELECTseries 3 (SS3) introduced several key features that streamlined 3D modeling, geospatial integration, and software installation Bentley packed SS3 with powerful tools that were
. If you are drafting content or documentation for this specific version, here are the primary functional areas to highlight: ServiceNow 1. Enhanced Installation & Deployment Integrated Prerequisites
: Unlike previous versions, SS3 no longer requires a separate "Prerequisite Pack" download. The installer automatically retrieves necessary Microsoft resources from the web. Deployment Images
: For IT admins, SS3 supports the creation of deployment images to facilitate offline installations on multiple machines. ServiceNow 2. Geospatial & External Integration Google Earth/Maps Integration
: SS3 allows users to reproject data directly for use with Google Earth and Google Maps, improving site context for 2D and 3D projects. WMS Support : Users can load georeferenced imagery via Web Map Services (WMS) Raster Manager to add a server URL and pull live imagery. Terrain Modeling : Supports importing
files to generate and annotate terrain models, including contours and spot elevations. 3. Drafting & Element Management MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries 3) with Google Earth and Map
MicroStation V8i Select Series 3 is a software suite developed by Bentley Systems, designed for the creation, editing, and management of digital infrastructure projects. It represents a comprehensive set of tools for architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) professionals, as well as geospatial and asset management applications. Below are key features and benefits associated with MicroStation V8i Select Series 3: Legal note : Do not download cracked versions
Target Audience: Existing Users upgrading from V8i SS2 or earlier.
Title: Enhancements and New Features
One of the most powerful concepts in MicroStation is the difference between the Active Model and References.
| Symptom | Likely Cause | Solution |
| :--- | :--- | :--- |
| Crash when opening DGN | Corrupted design file | Utilities > MDL > Audit → select Fix Errors |
| AccuDraw not responding | Settings file corruption | Delete ustn.dta and accudraw.dta from user folder |
| Slow pan/zoom in 3D | Display set to "All" elements | Settings > View Attributes → turn off Patterns, Fill |
| Missing line styles | Resource file not loaded | Workspace > Configuration → verify MS_LINESTYLES path |
| PDF import shows blank | PDF uses unsupported compression | Re-save PDF as "Vector PDF v1.4" from Adobe Acrobat |
While not as advanced as MicroStation’s current parametric capabilities, SS3 included robust solid modeling tools: extrusion, sweeping, lofting, and boolean operations (union, subtract, intersect). It was fully compatible with Parasolid kernel (same as SolidWorks and NX).
