Mt6580 Imei Repair Code 〈100% DIRECT〉
Let's apply real-world knowledge to a common device.
Device: Tecno Spark 4 (model KC2, MT6580) Problem: "Invalid IMEI" after flashing wrong firmware.
Solution via ADB + Root (most reliable):
If this failed, the backup plan was Maui META using a stock scatter file from the original Tecno ROM.
MediaTek includes a hidden Engineer Mode (EngMode) accessible via dialer codes. These are legitimate MT6580 codes, but they are not one-click fixes.
| Code | Function |
|------|----------|
| *#*#3646633#*#* | Standard MTK Engineer Mode |
| *#*#54298#*#* | Engineer Mode (alternate) |
| *#*#225#*#* | Engineering Logs |
Once inside Engineer Mode, you can technically restore IMEI by navigating to: Connectivity → CDS Information → Radio Information → Phone 1 (or Phone 2). mt6580 imei repair code
There is a "code-based" method that still works on MT6580, but it is not a dialer code. It requires Root access and a terminal emulator (or ADB shell).
This is the fastest method if your phone supports it.
Step 1: Open your dialer (Phone app).
Step 2: Dial the following code exactly:
*#*#3646633#*#*
(If that doesn't work, try *#*#4636#*#* or *#15963#*)
Step 3: You will enter Engineer Mode (MTK Settings). Let's apply real-world knowledge to a common device
Step 4: Swipe to the Connectivity tab.
Step 5: Tap CDS Information → Radio Information.
Step 6: Choose Phone 1 (for SIM1) or Phone 2 (for SIM2).
Step 7: Enter the following command (replace X with your actual 15-digit IMEI):
For Phone 1:
AT +EGMR=1,7,"YOUR_15_DIGIT_IMEI"
Example:
AT +EGMR=1,7,"123456789012345"
For Phone 2:
AT +EGMR=1,10,"YOUR_15_DIGIT_IMEI"
Step 8: Tap SEND AT COMMAND.
Step 9: Restart your phone. The IMEI should be restored.
When wiping in TWRP, never tick the "NVRAM" partition unless you know exactly what you are doing. Most TWRP versions for MT6580 hide it by default for this reason.
No single universal dialer code works for MT6580 IMEI repair on locked/unrooted stock ROMs. The AT+EGMR code inside Engineer Mode is your best dialer-based option — but only after rooting. For reliable results, use Maui META or SN Writer on a Windows PC. Avoid “IMEI repair apps” from unknown sources — most are scams or malware on this platform.
