At its core, body positivity is a social movement rooted in the idea that all bodies are good bodies, regardless of size, shape, skin tone, gender, or physical ability. It is not about "loving" your appearance every single day (which is unrealistic). Instead, it is about respecting your body and refusing to let your self-worth be dictated by your reflection.

Body neutrality is a kinder bridge. Instead of saying "I love my stretch marks," try saying: "These stretch marks are the result of growth. They do not determine my worth."
Instead of forcing a smile in the mirror, simply say: "This is my body today. I will take care of it because it houses my consciousness."
You don't have to throw a party for your thighs to treat them with respect. You just have to stop punishing them for existing.
You are not a bad person because you skipped a workout. You are not a good person because you drank a green juice. Health is neutral. Rest days are productive. And your worth has never been—and will never be—tied to your willpower.
