Do not confuse QFIL firmware with:

  • On PC, open Device Manager → verify device appears as “QHSUSB_BULK” or “Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008”.
  • Launch QFIL (Start → QPST → QFIL).
  • In QFIL:
  • Click “Download” to begin flashing. Do NOT disconnect during the process.
  • Wait until QFIL shows success (green message). The phone should reboot—first boot may take several minutes.
  • If you see “Unknown Device” or “QHSUSB_BULK,” right-click → Update driver → Browse my computer → Let me pick → Select “Qualcomm Incorporated” → Choose the 9008 driver.
