The Plants vs Zombies Mod Among Us MOD is a fan-made modification (typically for the original Plants vs. Zombies PC version or PvZ 2 via third-party launchers) that reskins, re-audios, and re-mechanics the classic tower defense formula using assets, characters, and logic from Among Us.

This is not just a simple texture swap. While some versions replace zombies with "Crewmate" zombies and plants with "Imposter" plants, the most popular versions invert the roles. Typically, the mod casts you (the planter) as a Crewmate trying to defend your house from Imposter Zombies. However, advanced versions introduce "Sabotage Waves" where lights go out (fog covers the lawn), or "Venting" lanes where Imposters can teleport forward.

In the hardcore version of the Plants vs Zombies Mod Among Us MOD, Imposter zombies don’t just walk down lanes. Every 30 seconds, a random Imposter will "vent"—disappearing from lane 2 and reappearing three tiles forward in lane 4. This forces you to place plants in depth, not just at the front. Do not plant solely on the left side. Because Imposters can vent, place your first Sunflower and your first Pea Shooter on column 3 (middle) instead of column 1. This creates a "scan" range that catches venting Imposters as they emerge.
