When entering a Thermocline Current, count your moves out loud. It is very easy to lose track. If you anticipate the termination of the current one move too late, you will overshoot the exit and collide with a rock formation.

Playwiz Beluga was launched in late 2023 by an independent studio known as Arctic Code Interactive. Originally developed as a 72-hour game jam entry titled "Whale Logic," the prototype went viral on Discord servers due to its addictive "one more try" mechanics. After signing a distribution deal with the Playwiz arcade network, the game was refined, expanded, and rebranded as Playwiz Beluga.
