Pokemon Opalo Pokedex: %c3%adtem

Lira finds the Pokédex—a hexagonal slate of polished obsidian—on Veyle’s workbench. It is cold, dark, and inert. A note reads: “The Dex is mute without its heart. Find the Shard. Do not trust the Geode Monks.”

The only clue: a map to the Echoing Depths, a cavern beneath the Singing Geyser.

Inside the cavern, Lira battles wild Whismur and Loudred whose cries crack the crystal walls. At the center, embedded in a stalagmite of humming amethyst, is the Shard of Resonance—a palm-sized, iridescent crystal that vibrates with a faint, mournful tone.

When she touches it, a vision flashes: Veyle, arguing with a hooded figure. “The Shard isn’t a tool—it’s a prison,” Veyle says. The figure replies: “Then we will break it open.”

The second shard was guarded by what the locals called the "Null Void"—a shimmering absence in the Obsidian Marsh. Here, Elara met the "Ralts" again. But it wasn't a Ralts anymore.

It grew. It warped. Its form flickered between Kirlia, Gardevoir, Gallade, and something else entirely: a Ghost/Fairy type with a shattered crown and eyes like black holes. The Opalo Pokédex beeped: pokemon opalo pokedex %C3%ADtem

Entry #001 – Null Void
Pokémon: MisingNo. Aether Form
Note: This was once the first Pokémon ever registered. When the Silence Engine fired, it sacrificed its name to save the others. Now it has no name. Only function.

The battle wasn't about strength. It was about naming. The Opalo Pokédex glowed, and Elara understood. The device didn't need her to fight. It needed her to speak the lost name.

She closed her eyes. The whispers of the device flooded her mind—a forgotten syllable, a warmth like sunrise over an ocean that no longer existed.

"Kaelith," she whispered.

The Null Void stopped. It wept crystalline tears. Then it bowed, pressed its forehead to the Opalo Pokédex, and dissolved into the second Aura Shard. Lira finds the Pokédex—a hexagonal slate of polished

Entry #001 – Null Void
Restoration progress: 66%
Name restored: Kaelith (Psychic/Ghost)

Outside Mount Opalo, the sky cracked.

Not with destruction—with birth. From the fissures rained down forms of light: the Shatterwing, now whole, its glass wings turned to stained glass mosaics of memory; Kaelith, the once-Null Void, laughing as it stretched its new name across the sky; and hundreds of others—Pokémon from forgotten generations, fossil dreams, alternate evolutions, and one tiny, smiling Ralts that waved at Elara before joining the celestial migration.

Elara looked down at the Opalo Pokédex. Its opal veins had turned gold. A final message appeared:

POKÉMON OPALO - POKÉDEX ÍTEM
Status: COMPLETE
New Function Unlocked: The carrier may now record the future. Entry #001 – Null Void Pokémon: MisingNo

She smiled, closed the device, and whispered to the rising sun:

"Let's begin again."

And in Auria, for the first time in three hundred years, a Ralts evolved not into Kirlia—but into a guardian of memory, carrying a tiny black slate on its chest, its opal crystals gleaming with the light of second chances.

End of story.
