Pro tip: The RS series driver also includes a firmware handshake. If your plotter’s LCD screen shows “Online” but the computer says “Offline,” you have the wrong RS driver version. Try v2.0 for Windows 10 and v1.8 for Windows 7.
Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository and copy the folder named ch341ser.inf_amd64... to a USB stick. If the driver breaks, you can point Device Manager to that folder.
Having the driver installed isn't enough; the cutting software must be configured to match.
