I tested Resolume Arena 7 (build 7.22.0) on a 2021 MacBook Pro (M1 Max, 32 GPU cores, 64GB RAM) running macOS Sonoma 14.5.

Resolume Arena 7 defaults to Metal on macOS 10.15+. Do not switch back to OpenGL. Metal provides lower CPU overhead and better multi-threading. To check: Preferences > Video > Renderer.
