Siemens has officially stated that Starter is in "maintenance mode." There will be no V55. However, V54 remains fully supported for Windows 10.

Starter V54 vs. V57 (SCOUT): Do not confuse SINAMICS Starter V54 with SIMOTION SCOUT V57. SCOUT is for motion control (coordinated multi-axis). Starter is for single/multi-drive without motion profiles.
