By default, the patched termsrv.dll allows up to 2 simultaneous RDP sessions (one console, one remote). To increase this limit (e.g., to 5 or 10), you must modify the registry.

Solution: Re-apply the universal patch after every major Windows Update. Some patch tools offer a "persistence" mode that reapplies the patch automatically on startup.

Why isn't this mainstream? Because it's dangerous.

The unpatched termsrv.dll includes critical security fixes for exploits like BlueKeep (CVE-2019-0708) – a wormable RDP vulnerability. If you patch an older version of the DLL, you may be reintroducing that vulnerability. Always apply patch to the latest updated termsrv.dll.

Solution: Boot into Safe Mode with Networking, then apply the patch.
