This report details the status of Winbox version 3.18, a legacy management tool for MikroTik RouterOS. While functional for older hardware, this version is significantly outdated. The primary security risk involves downloading the executable from unauthorized third-party sources, as the official repository no longer highlights this version. It is the recommendation of this report that legacy versions only be used in isolated, legacy environments and that users upgrade to the latest stable release for production environments.
