X12 Plus Custom Firmware Updated May 2026

Once the custom firmware boots up:

  • Scrapers: Use the built-in scraper tool in the firmware to download box art and game descriptions for your menu.
  • Recovery-based installation (TWRP/CWM): flash ZIP packages from custom recovery.
  • OTA update packages: signed custom OTAs applied via recovery or updater.
  • Serial or JTAG programming: for low-level recovery or unbricking.
  • Remote/adb sideload: for sideloading update.zip via adb.

    • Gone is the ugly grid launcher. The new CFW ships with EmulationStation Desktop Edition (ES-DE) pre-configured. You get: x12 plus custom firmware updated
