Before attempting to configure the wireless settings, it is crucial to gather the necessary tools. Unlike some "plug-and-play" devices, thermal printers require specific software to communicate network protocols.
On your phone/PC, connect to the printer’s Wi‑Fi network (no password or password on the printer label).
Open a browser and enter the printer’s default IP (commonly 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1). If not listed, check the network config printout (see step 6).
Log in (default credentials often admin/admin—check label/manual).
In the web UI, go to Wireless Settings → Scan for networks → select your home/office SSID → enter its password → Save/Apply.
Reboot the printer. It should join your local Wi‑Fi network. Determine its new IP from your router’s DHCP client list or print a network status page:
