The film centers on Jack Shepard, also known by his superhero alias, "Captain Zoom." In the past, Jack was a member of a superhero team, but a government experiment gone wrong stripped him of his powers and turned his brother, Concussion, into a villain. Disillusioned and bitter, Jack retired from hero work.
