AmpliTube 5 is a flagship guitar/bass tone studio developed by IK Multimedia. While the official manual covers technical specifications, this guide focuses on the practical workflow and the structural logic of the software.

This feature allows you to "capture" the sound of a real amp (using a microphone and interface) and convert it into a digital model inside AmpliTube. You can then A/B test your real amp against the digital model, or save the model to use later without needing to mic up your cabinet.
